During the summer, the avenue gets lively because of the many terraces and street artists performing at Richard-Garneau plaza, located on the corner of Cartier Avenue and René-Lévesque Boulevard and of Cartier Avenue and Aberdeen Street.
Take the time to observe Quebec painters’ artwork exposed on the 34 giant lampshades of Cartier Avenue, between Grande Allee and chemin Sainte-Foy. The artwork gets illuminated at night, which creates a beautiful ambiance you can’t find anywhere else in the city.
